Behavioral Health Mental Health Practitioner- Hours to be Reported-WeGo Job Category: Counselors/Social Workers Requisition Number: BEHAV005225 Posted: April 14, 2026 Employment Type: Part-Time Location: Dupage, DuPage, 222 E Willow Ave, Wheaton, IL 60187, USA Pay Range: $28 – $33 per hour, with potential up to $38 per hour for LSW, LPC, LCSW, or LCPC credentialed candidates. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs comprehensive in-depth assessments for a variety of program services and intakes as assigned. Provides full range of case management, counseling, advocacy, educational, and related services. Utilizes agency and community resources and assesses community conditions affecting clients. Recommends financial assistance and provides group services as indicated by program need. Meets contractual requirements such as 24‑hour coverage and represents agency programs in the community. May serve on regional or agency‑wide committees and encounter other duties as assigned. Maintains agency expectations for quantity of direct service and complies with record‑keeping standards. Works effectively with diverse staff and service populations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Requires mobility to work with a community‑based caseload. Ability to maintain assigned community and home‑based services. Effective interaction with diverse individuals and groups. Qualifications: Master's degree in social work or counseling from an accredited college or university. Must have applied to take LSW or LPC examination. Additional Requirements: Satisfactorily pass all relevant screenings and criminal background checks. Travel/Mobility Requirements: Must have access to a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance to perform essential job functions. Physical Demands: Required to sit and stand for sustained periods, frequently talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to manipulate objects or controls. Occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel, or crouch; requires close visual acuity for tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, and viewing a computer terminal.
