The Software Developer I supports the development, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise applications built on Microsoft .NET technologies, Azure-hosted Kubernetes environments, and DB2-integrated systems. This role focuses on learning the organization’s application ecosystem, resolving routine issues, and contributing to development efforts under the guidance of senior team members.

The Software Developer I will work closely with Business Analyst and Product Owner to understand the business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilitie s

• Assist in developing and maintaining features within .NET-based web applications, according to business and technical specifications provided.

• Support application functionality deployed within Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.

• Assist with integration and data exchange between DB2 databases and .NET applications

• Troubleshoot and resolve basic application defects and support tickets

• Write and maintain application code following established coding standards

• Assist with testing, debugging, and validation of application changes

• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior developers

• Document application changes, configurations, and support procedures

• Collaborate with QA, infrastructure, and business teams to understand requirements

• Follow established SDLC, change management, and deployment processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 1 to 3 years of professional application development or support experience

• 1 to 3 years experience with:

o C# and .NET (ASP.NET, .NET Core preferred)

o SQL fundamentals

o Entity framework or any other ORM

o NextJS or equivalent experience in similar frameworks

• Familiarity with:

o Web application concepts ( APIs)

o Source control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, or similar)

o Micro services Architecture

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills and willingness to learn

• Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Azure services or cloud-hosted applications

• Basic understanding of containerization (Docker) or Kubernetes concepts

• Exposure to DB2 or other enterprise relational databases

• Internship or academic project experience in enterprise application development
