Manager, Distribution Center & Warehouse Operations

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Center Manager to lead operations within our new Youngsville, NC-based 550,000 sq. ft. facility, overseeing a team of approximately 125 employees. Relocation assistance is available to the Raleigh-Durham area from within the US. Minimal travel is expected (~10%).The expected annual salary range for this role is $146000 - $215000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do:This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across receiving, inventory, and shipping while ensuring safety, quality, and service targets are consistently met.Key Responsibilities:• Lead all daily distribution center operations, including inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipping• Manage, coach, and develop a workforce including supervisors and frontline teams• Drive performance against key metrics such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, productivity, and cost• Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy through effective controls and cycle counting programs• Optimize labor planning, staffing, and workflow to meet demand and improve efficiency• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all OSHA and company standards• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost performance• Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, transportation, and customer service teams• Manage operating budgets and identify cost-saving opportunitiesQualifications:Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution • Minimum 7 years of experience in distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing plant operations• Minimum 5 years of direct people leadership experience• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
