As a specialized critical care nurse, you will be providing care to patients with a variety of diagnoses in a critical access hospital. This includes post-surgical and medical patients. The applicant must be willing to provide care as part of a team on a mixed-acuity inpatient wing. Responsibilities include evaluating and monitoring patient progress. You will identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition. You are expected to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and family members. You will respond to medical emergencies. You will care for patient needs throughout their recovery in the ICU. The Medical/Surgical RN provides compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses. This role is part of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The RN will provide accessible and quality care.
