The Role
- Perform comprehensive patient exams, medical work-ups, and client education
- Manage diagnostics and treatment planning; utilize in-house lab, ultrasound, radiography, and EKG as indicated
- Provide routine dentistry and dental surgery; perform elective soft-tissue procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate closely with the hospital manager on clinical priorities and workflow
- Promote teamwork, participate in daily rounds, and help refine medical and operational protocols
- Contribute to practice updates, training, and quality improvement initiatives
- Additional duties as assigned to support excellent patient and client care

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain and maintain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in a veterinary setting preferred
- Proficiency in general medicine, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue surgery
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and confidently handle patients under stress or in pain
