Grants Manager

We are seeking an experienced Auditor, Grants Compliance & Operational Efficiency to support the development of a strong grants compliance and internal audit function. Reporting to the CFO, this role will conduct grants, financial, and operational audits, strengthen internal controls, improve organizational processes, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and nonprofit funding requirements. Responsibilities Conduct grants, financial, and operational audits to identify compliance risks and process improvements. Review grant proposals, awards, expenditures, and reporting for compliance with 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Guidance) and organizational policies. Develop and strengthen grants management policies, internal controls, and audit procedures. Evaluate departmental operations, procurement, vendor contracts, and spending to identify efficiencies and cost savings. Support audit readiness, regulatory reporting, and implementation of corrective actions. Partner with Finance and department leaders to improve compliance and operational performance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Public Administration, or related field. 5+ years of experience in financial audit, operational audit, grants compliance, or internal audit. Experience with nonprofit, higher education, healthcare, government, or other grant-funded organizations. Strong knowledge of federal grants, 2 CFR Part 200, internal controls, compliance, and financial reporting. Experience supporting audits, risk assessments, and process improvement initiatives. Strong analytical, communication, and Microsoft Excel skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
