Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Type: Non-Exempt
Schedule: Acute Rehabilitation | Monday–Friday | Weekend & Holiday Rotation Required

This medical center serves residents throughout southeastern Arizona and surrounding communities. Located in the scenic high desert region near Sierra Vista and Ft. Huachuca, the hospital has been providing exceptional care since 1963 and operates a modern facility completed in 2015.

The hospital is licensed by Medicare and the State of Arizona and accredited by The Joint Commission. It has received national recognition for patient safety, stroke care, and advanced wound care excellence.

The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients and develops individualized treatment plans to enhance functional independence across multiple care environments, including:

• Acute hospital
• Acute rehabilitation
• Inpatient medical-surgical
• Outpatient services

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering therapeutic interventions that support activities of daily living
• Promoting patient safety and participation in meaningful routines
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educating patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment use
• Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and facility standards
• Supporting a safe and effective treatment environment

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Experience in outpatient, rehabilitation, or acute care settings
