Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit position with cardiac experience required and night shift availability.

Details

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
• Cardiac progressive care patient population, including post-op CABG and post cardiac procedure monitoring
• Night shift schedule from 7P-7A
• Weekend rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• 2+ years of recent RN experience required
• Cardiac progressive care experience required, including post-op CABG and post cardiac procedure monitoring
• 2 professional references required
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions granted

Additional Information

• Coordinate patient care delivery using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe patient transitions and prevent complications
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who previously worked as permanent employees at this health system may have additional eligibility requirements
