Building Safety Inspector: Codes & Field Inspections

Cityofnewburgh Ny

The City of Newburgh is seeking a Code Compliance Inspector to perform routine inspections of residential and commercial properties, verify violations and assist in enforcement of building codes. The position requires knowledge of local housing and building codes, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to work with the public. A NYS Certification as Building Safety Inspector must be completed within one year of appointment, and a valid NYS driver’s license is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cityofnewburgh Ny
