Precision Drivetrain Welder & Machinist

Description Job Summary Creates, modifies, and/or repairs automotive drivetrain parts using welding, lathe or other forms of repair/modification tools. Responsibilities and Duties Understand specifications and desired result. Reading and understanding blueprints and diagrams. Prepare and load materials onto the machine or table. Welding, grinding, blending Using hand tools, power tools, and machines (lathe, mill, etc). Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process is within specification. Physically able to lift up to 100lbs. Requirements Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or equivalent. Welding experience (minimum 5 years). Machining experience. Experience with hand tools and power tools Knowledge and Personal Attributes Mechanical aptitude and good math skills. Good attention to detail and results/self-driven approach. Good communication skills. MIG/TIG welding experience on steel and aluminum. Maintain an organized work environment. Follow established safety procedures and policies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
