Travel PTA - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Post-Acute care setting requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS certification, with license required if applicable.

Post-Acute care setting in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)

Approximately 90% outpatient care and 10% inpatient care

Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, day shift 0730-1630 with an hour lunch

Saturday coverage is inpatient only, typically about 2.5 hours of work

Uses Cerner EMR for charting and documentation

First to float among staff

40 hours per week with an every-other-weekend (EOW) rotation

License required if applicable

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of experience as a PTA required

Active state or compact license required for the state of submission; pending licenses not accepted

Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Provide physical therapy services across both outpatient and inpatient settings

12 hours of orientation provided
