About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Development to spearhead its global fundraising efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for raising over $30 million annually, with a focus on corporate, government, foundation, and individual giving. This role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in multi-channel fundraising, capable of designing and executing comprehensive strategies to meet both short-term and long-term revenue goals. The Vice President of Development will also be tasked with fostering donor relations, leading a high-performing fundraising team, and providing field support to local program delivery partners. A key aspect of the role is the development and management of strategic partnerships, including the identification and cultivation of relationships with potential non-profit partners.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the mission of the company, demonstrating a genuine commitment to advancing STEM education and the values of the organization. They should possess deep experience in corporate fundraising and a strong stewardship orientation, ensuring excellence in donor reporting and relationship continuity. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred, and significant senior-level experience in a similar role is essential.
