Senior Electrical Control Systems Engineer (P.E.)

DescriptionKforce has a client in Baton Rouge, LA that is seeking a Senior Electrical Control Systems Engineer (P.E.) to lead Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EI&C) projects supporting municipal and industrial facilities. This role will serve as a technical leader responsible for design, power system studies, automation systems, and project execution from concept through commissioning. This position is full remote. Responsibilities:* Lead electrical, instrumentation, and controls system design projects* Perform power system studies including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow, and motor starting analyses* Develop and review P&IDs, control narratives, wiring diagrams, I/O lists, and related design documentation* Design PLC, HMI, and SCADA network architectures* Serve as Engineer of Record and provide sealed Arizona design deliverables* Conduct QA/QC reviews and mentor junior engineers* Support construction, startup, commissioning, RFIs, and submittal reviewsRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering* Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license* 5+ years of electrical and/or controls engineering experience* Strong NEC knowledge and AutoCAD Electrical proficiency* Experience with PLC and HMI/SCADA systems* Proven ability to lead projects through design and constructionPreferred:* Experience with SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower* Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam experience* PLC/HMI programming experience* Municipal, water/wastewater, mining, industrial, utility, infrastructure, or data center project experience* Consulting engineering backgroundWhy Join?* Diverse, high-impact infrastructure projects* Strong project backlog and career growth potential* Collaborative culture with opportunities to mentor and develop engineering talentJob TypeDirect HireCompensation120000 - $160000
