Medical Records Technician

Texarkana, TX (Onsite) $19.50 per hour We are seeking detail-oriented Health Information Management Technicians to support an upcoming Medical Record Purge Project within the HIM Department of large Hospital. Requirements: Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday for the duration of the assignment High School Diploma required This role is focused on medical records review, data management, and high-volume data entry, requiring strong organizational skills, accuracy, and strict adherence to confidentiality standards. Candidates must have solid Microsoft Excel experience , as a significant portion of the assignment involves maintaining and updating spreadsheets. Familiarity with hospital EMR systems is preferred but not required. This is a non-patient-facing position with no patient contact, no birth certificate processing, no unit clerk responsibilities, and no discharge planning duties .
