Medical Equipment Logistics & Inventory Specialist (On-site, Oakdale, PA 15071)

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire (Permanent placement on company payroll with immediate full benefits; not a temporary job)

Location: Oakdale, PA 15071 (Pittsburgh West Suburbs)

Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift (Monday – Friday, rotating shifts: 8:00am–4:30pm, 8:30am–5:00pm, 9:00am–5:30pm, or 9:30am–6:00pm; no weekends or holidays required)

New Hire Starting Base Pay: $19.80 – $22.45 per hour (Starting salary placement is determined by relevant equipment testing/cleaning experience, warehousing background, and organizational skills.)

Future Earning Potential: Position salary range progresses up to $30.40 per hour over time through performance, tenure, and operational advancement.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience & Skills: Prior experience with equipment cleaning, testing protocols, warehousing, or logistics 
• Technical Capabilities: Basic computer literacy, accurate inventory tracking skills, and proficiency in updating patient/equipment management systems.
• Logistics & Organization: Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills to coordinate equipment dispatch, returns, and preventative maintenance schedules.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Equipment Processing & Maintenance: Receive, clean, sanitize, test, assign, and stock durable medical equipment (DME) and pump accessories in strict compliance with infection control protocols and SOPs.
• Inventory & Systems Management: Maintain accurate equipment tracking in the patient management system, perform routine inventory audits, generate maintenance reports, and coordinate return of defective items for manufacturer repair.
• Logistics & Delivery Coordination: Efficiently schedule and track equipment delivery and pick-ups with couriers/drivers, follow up on unreturned items, and issue patient recovery correspondence when needed.
• Branch & Warehouse Operations: Organize equipment storage rooms to ensure easy retrieval and regulatory accreditation compliance, maintaining adequate stock levels for outlying regional branches.
• Cross-Departmental Support: Act as a central equipment resource, handle customer complaints empathetically, and collaborate with sales representatives and internal teams.
