Quality Assurance Inspector

Quality InspectorThe Quality Inspector is responsible for providing QA support to the manufacturing and packaging process. This position reports directly to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm - 7:30amResponsibilities:Additional duties as assignedMaintain and control electronic and non-electronic documents according to SOPsMonitors associates' adherence to cGMPsThoroughly audit all production records and determine batch dispositionPerforms set-up and in-process testing to ensure products meet specificationsVerifies cleanliness of rooms and equipment visually and by ATP testingPerforms AQL testing when requiredPerforms swabbing for environmental monitoringReviews document to ensure compliance to GMPSMaintains the storage of retain samples and batch recordsInvolved in determining root cause for quality issuesCoordinates and supports various quality functions and projects as neededInteract between departments for quality purposesData entry of quality data into computerFiling of all quality testingQualifications:Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job trainingHigh School Diploma is required, Associate's degree is preferredComputer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office is requiredMinimum of 1 year experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing setting is requiredProject management skills are a plusExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and organization skillsMust be able to multi-taskAbility to work autonomouslyAll other duties as assignedRole's Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift 50lbsMust be able to stand for 8 hoursMust be able to work in a physically challenging environmentWe proudly offer: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with Company Match, Pet insurance and more!We reward the hard work of our team members with fun and exciting company events, Summer Picnic, Festive Packages, Holiday Celebrations, and associate referral bonuses!Founded in 2011, Piping Rock Health Products has gone on to win Long Island's Top Workplaces Award 6 years in a row & securing the spot as Top Supplement Manufacturing Company 2024 by Food Business Review!
