Senior Data/Business Systems Analyst

The Senior Data/Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in driving data-focused initiatives within the healthcare payor domain. This role requires deep techno-functional expertise across payor data, including claims, population health, and industry data standards. The analyst will work extensively with SQL, Oracle, and modern data platforms to evaluate incoming data files, support ingestion processes, and develop clear functional requirements across the full SDLC and Agile lifecyclefrom concept and design through testing and deployment. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities and substantial experience within the healthcare insurance sector.

50% Create documentation like functional specifications and creating source to target mappings

50% Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and profiling

Validate payer data, including claims, membership, provider, and clinical datasets.

Work with data governance and business teams to resolve data quality issues.

Participates in estimation efforts to formulate and define the scope of IS team deliverables.

Participates in the change management process playing a lead role as needed.

Resolves conflicting/competing needs from different areas of the business, tactfully, and in a way that satisfies all parties.
