Job Title: Facilities Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to join our dynamic team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded skill set in facilities maintenance, including plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, patching, and any HVAC, welding, or preventive maintenance knowledge. Responsibilities Perform plumbing tasks and repairs. Conduct basic electrical maintenance and repairs. Carry out painting and patching work. Utilize HVAC knowledge for maintenance and troubleshooting. Engage in welding activities as needed. Execute preventive maintenance tasks. Handle carpentry and drywall repairs. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently. Maintain lighting fixtures and address any issues. Keep the facility clean and well-maintained. Essential Skills Experience in facilities maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems. Ability to perform electrical repairs. Familiarity with preventive maintenance techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications Entry-level candidates with a positive attitude are encouraged to apply. Welding experience is a plus. Experience in painting and drywall repairs is beneficial. Work Environment Work in a manufacturing environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and a moderate noise level. This role includes an on-call schedule in the future, with shifts from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday during after-hours, on a rotating weekly basis. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
