Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive Health Educator to design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive health education programs that promote wellness and prevent disease across diverse communities. This remote position requires a professional who can assess population needs, translate evidence-based health information into engaging learning experiences, and measure program outcomes. The Health Educator will work closely with public health teams, clinical providers, community partners, and funders to ensure programs are accessible, culturally appropriate, and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough community health needs assessments, including surveys, focus groups, and secondary data review, to identify priorities and target populations.
• Develop and implement curricula, workshops, webinars, and digital content tailored to specific audiences (youth, adults, older adults, and marginalized groups).
• Design educational materials such as brochures, flyers, social media posts, infographics, and e-learning modules that reflect health literacy principles.
• Deliver individual and group education sessions using culturally sensitive methods, motivational interviewing, and behavior change techniques.
• Build and maintain strategic collaborations with healthcare providers, community-based organizations, schools, and local government agencies to amplify impact.
• Collect and analyze program data to evaluate reach, effectiveness, and participant outcomes; prepare reports and recommendations for improvement.
• Support grant writing, budget planning, and fundraising efforts to secure resources for program sustainability.
• Keep current with public health research, best practices, and policy changes relevant to program scope.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, participant engagement, and evaluation metrics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Health Education, Public Health, Community Health, or related field; Masters preferred.
• Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) or similar credential a plus.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering health education programs and materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to groups and virtual audiences.
• Experience with needs assessment, program evaluation, and basic data analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, virtual meeting platforms, and basic graphic or LMS tools preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Salary/Compensation: $102,000 - $105,900 per year
