The Roll-Off Driver will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers across multiple lines of businesses. The CDL Driver will collect waste from customer sites and transport to post-collection facilities for proper disposal.

What You’ll Do:

As the face of GFL in Elizabeth City, you’ll operate our roll-off trucks to collect and transport waste safely. Your day-to-day will include:

• Precision Driving: Navigating local routes and customer sites with a focus on safety and efficiency.

• Equipment Care: Conducting daily pre/post-trip inspections to ensure your "office on wheels" is in top shape.

• Customer Connection: Representing Team Green with a professional demeanor while serving our local community.

• Safety First: Following all DOT regulations and company safety standards to ensure you and the public stay safe.

What You Bring:

• Experience: A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and at least one year of commercial driving experience (or a CDL school certificate).

• Local Knowledge: Comfort maneuvering large vehicles in tight or high-traffic local areas.

• Reliability: A desire to work outdoors and a commitment to being a safety-sensitive professional.

• Physical Capability: Ability to handle the physical nature of waste management, including lifting and frequent cab entry/exit.
