Location: North Carolina

Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with call coverage 10 days per month including one weekend per month

Highlights:

• Join a specialized 3-room cardiovascular OR supporting adults and geriatric patients (ages 20s to 90s)
• Diverse case mix including CABG, valve replacements (aortic, mitral), TAVR, robotic thoracic procedures, carotid endarterectomy, IABP management, and complex aortic aneurysm repairs
• Epic EMR system with Pyxis medication management and SBAR communication protocols
• 36-hour orientation provided; scrubs supplied
• 13-week contract with acceptance of first-time travelers
• Interdisciplinary support from respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Circulating experience required; scrub experience preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Candidates must be available for interview within 72 hours of submission
