Plant Supervisor

Lead by example. Drive operational excellence. Make healthcare safer. Daniels Health is seeking a hands‑on 1st Shift Plant Supervisor to oversee operations at our Stow, OH facility. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined leader who drives safety, compliance, and efficient plant performance through a frontline team. After use, we professionally clean and sanitize each container for reuse, while responsibly disposing of medical waste at our treatment facilities. Our closed-loop system ensures safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility for our customers. What You'll Do: Lead 1st shift plant operations across production and dock to meet safety, quality, and throughput targets Champion safety: daily floor walkthroughs, PPE and hazard control, incident and near‑miss reporting, and weekly safety talks Ensure compliance with OSHA and regulatory standards (permits, environmental requirements, ISO/AQIS/DOT tasks, audits). Uphold quality standards and sanitation requirements across processes and equipment. Plan daily capacity, labor coverage, and workflow; manage inventory and stock control Coach, train, and develop team members; support performance reviews and build a cross‑trained, reliable shift. Support preventive maintenance and equipment uptime in partnership with maintenance and site leadership Monitor KPIs and elevate service‑impacting issues in collaboration with sales, service, and logistics Must‑Have Qualifications: 3-5 years of plant, warehouse, manufacturing, or operations leadership experience Mechanical aptitude and hands‑on problem‑solving skills Experience in a process‑driven environment with clear standards and documentation.
