Who You Are: You are a Certified Home Health Aide in California who is interested in working with an interdisciplinary team of health professionals helping individuals that have transitioned from a hospital to home care setting and assisting them to remain in the community. You enjoy helping clients achieve their personal goals of remaining in the community. Note* This is not a position for Caregivers, or Registry Aides. We are accepting applications from Certified Home Health Aides who have completed training as a Home Health Aide and received the necessary license issued from the State of California. Responsibilities: Assists patient with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation, and other activities as needed Performs duties as assigned in an accurate and timely manner Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions Experience Required: Patient-interaction skills Experience with ADLs Experience with Hoyer Lifts Ability to multi-task and perform duties in a timely and orderly manner Essential Requirements: Completed an approved Home Health Aide training course and received Certification as Home Health Aide from the State of California Valid California Driver’s License Eligible to be insured under our liability policy with a clean DMV report Reliable transportation Proof of current auto insurance Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check Current CPR certification PPE is provided to all employees Service Region/ Location: This is not a remote role and requires you to work reporting to our client's homes in Redding and surrounding counties. Schedule: Part-time or Per-Diem work - Ranges from 2-29 hours per week, hours may vary. Strong possibility of full-time work in the next 90 to 180 days. Travel: You will need to travel to client’s homes within the Redding area and surrounding counties. Physical Requirements: Conditional upon job offer is successfully passing a medical exam that tests amongst other things the ability to move, visual acuity, and hearing acuity.
