Your Role as a Senior Speech Language Pathologist
Your impactful journey includes:
- Delivering direct care to patients and fostering meaningful relationships by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support their recovery.
- Contributing to speech language in-service education and our student program for speech language pathologists.
- Mentoring and training new team members and collaborating with other departments as necessary.
- Overseeing and guiding speech therapy assistants and technicians.
- Celebrating patient achievements throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification as mandated by state regulations.
- Successful completion of the SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience in speech language pathology.
- Active participation in the Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or possession of specialty professional certifications.
Licensure or Certification:
Must hold a current state license in Speech Therapy.
Completion of the SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required.
BLS (CPR) certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of starting this role.
