Adecco Healthcare is working with our client in Taylor, TX to hire a cook for their facility. We are seeking an experienced candidate to lead kitchen operations and deliver quality dining experiences. The ideal candidate will oversee food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen safety while maintaining exceptional standards for food quality and presentation.

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Hours: Thursdays (approx 11a-5:30p) Friday - Saturday - Sunday

(approx 6:30a - 5:30p)

Pay Range: $20.50-$21.50/hour - DOE

Responsibilities:

• Daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and service

• Create and update menus while managing food costs

• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards

• Manage inventory and order quality ingredients

• Maintain clean kitchen area as well as salad bar

Qualifications:

• Previous Cook experience - will consider Sous Chefs as well as line cooks with a strong background in food service

• Strong knowledge of food preparation, menu development, and kitchen operations

• Experience in a fast-paced environment

• Thorough understanding of food safety regulations

• Must have Food Handler Certification

• Culinary degree or fine dining experience preferred

Pay Details: $20.50 to $21.50 per hour
