Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth clinical assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health needs, utilizing diagnostic tools and structured interviews.
• Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans that are tailored to each client's personal goals and situations.
• Delivering effective individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques that promote healing and recovery.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive treatment, participating in case conferences, and ensuring holistic care.
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines to protect client information.
• Engaging in regular professional development activities, including obtaining clinical supervision, attending workshops, and reviewing best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our LPCs work with a diverse clientele that includes adults struggling with various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and mood disorders. Additionally, our practice is focused on supporting individuals dealing with substance use and trauma-related challenges. By offering evidence-based practices, you will guide clients through their healing journeys and help them develop coping strategies to manage their mental health effectively.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience conducting individual and group therapy, demonstrating a solid understanding of various therapeutic modalities and assessment tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective clinical documentation and client interaction.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, along with various performance bonuses. Benefits include:
