Overview

Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist for KIDZ Medical Services to join our multispecialty program located at The Palm Beach Children’s Hospital at St. Mary’s Medical Center. The ideal candidate should be Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology or board-eligible based on fellowship completion and have demonstrated outstanding clinical skills.

KIDZ Medical Services has the largest Pediatric Hematology Oncology program in South Florida, with a team of 9 pediatric hematology/oncology physicians located across the region who subspecialize in Bleeding Disorders, Bone Marrow Transplant, Brain Tumors, Leukemia/Lymphoma, Sarcomas, and Sickle-Cell Disease. Our physicians also see benign hematological patients and participate in residency and fellowship program training, as well as research and clinical trials.

The incoming provider will be joining the team of 4 pediatric hematology/oncology providers located on the campus of The Palm Beach Children’s Hospital at St. Mary’s Medical Center. The practice includes nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical assistants, and in-house lab and infusion capabilities. Call is covered for a week at a time and is split amongst 4 providers, covering both the Hematology/Oncology unit as well as consults from the NICU, PICU and ED.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of pediatric hematology/oncology providers on the campus; participate in in-house labs and infusion services.
• Cover call for a week at a time, split amongst four providers, covering both the Hematology/Oncology unit and NICU/PICU/ED consults.
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical assistants, and hospital-supported programs.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology or board-eligible based on fellowship completion.
• Demonstrated outstanding clinical skills.
