Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: 60 - Westerman - Hebron, OH 43025 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 Summary Westerman is looking for a full-time HR Representative to support the new Licking County facility. This role includes start‑up and staffing, full life‑cycle recruiting, benefit administration, payroll, staffing, data entry, and general administration of human resources policies and practices. The successful candidate is a process‑oriented individual with excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and effective interaction with internal and external partners. Responsibilities Regular and punctual attendance is an essential job function. Recruiting and staffing: Post requisitions, source, screen, and interview candidates for hourly production positions; recommend candidates for hire; coordinate pre‑employment, onboarding, and orientation; partner with staffing agencies for temporary workers. Benefits administration: Communicate, explain, and answer employee questions regarding benefit plans, employee assistance program services, FMLA, and disability processes; guide employees through the annual Open Enrollment period. Analyze processes and practices: Complete analyses and make recommendations to improve processes and procedures; compile data and research for designated HR projects at both the local and corporate levels. HR administration: Coordinate performance management items; personnel and HRIS filing and maintenance; employee trainings; records retention; and provide reports to the HR department. Payroll: Review employee timecards for accuracy; process payroll; manage referral and sign‑on bonus programs. Miscellaneous program coordination: Wellness program initiatives, company events, Leadership Training Program, service and recognition awards, invoices, uniform and boot voucher programs. Other duties as required and assigned. Physical Demands / Work Environment Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time and work on a computer. May be required to lift up to 15 pounds in an office setting. Must be able to sit, stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and bend. Must be able to see, speak, hear, and read. Must use fingers and hands to manipulate/utilize office machines. Must be able to walk over both even and uneven surfaces. Some aspects may require close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to travel by car and airplane to other facilities as needed. Driving is an essential function of this position; clean driving record is required. Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or Business required. Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources work experience required; onboarding experience strongly preferred. Basic knowledge of HR practices, laws, and regulations required. Ability to learn and understand company practices (benefits, payroll, employee relations) required. Desire to grow and develop HR knowledge and skills required. Strong organizational skills with extreme attention to detail required. Excellent time management skills required. Demonstrated customer service focus required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to interact with all levels of employees (production and management) required. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines independently required. Ability to work individually and with a team required. Ability to prioritize and work with a sense of urgency required.
