Registered Nurse - ICU

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends required every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and the ability to manage complex patient care. The RN will be responsible for providing critical care to patients and will report directly to the unit manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for critically ill patients, including those with COVID-19.
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, and ventilated patients.
• Administer medications and blood products as necessary.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs closely.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and charting.
• Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Must have experience with the EPIC charting system.
• Previous charge experience is preferred but not required.
• Local candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius.
