As a Dietary Aide , you will play a vital role in supporting our dietary department by assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our food service. Responsibilities: Assist with food preparation, such as washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables, and preparing meals according to established recipes and guidelines Operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, and dishwashers Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards Assist with serving and plating food, as well as delivering meals to patients Monitor and maintain inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, and report any discrepancies to the Dietary Manager Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and prepare special events and functions Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Excellent communication and teamwork skills About Us: At Pine Haven Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, we are committed to providing a warm and welcoming environment that promotes healing, rehabilitation, and recovery.
