Head of Data Engineering

Salary: $197,955 - 311,375 per year Requirements:

• We look for 15+ years of experience building and scaling data teams, with a strong background in data strategy, infrastructure planning, architecture, and data products.
• We require 10+ years of experience leading data engineering teams, including managing managers of managers and scaling organizations with 20+ engineers across multiple geographies.
• We expect 10+ years of experience delivering data and analytics solutions for product teams.
• We value strong product intuition and the ability to use data to influence value creation across the organization.
• We need demonstrated success in building trusted, influential relationships with senior leaders across functions.
• We want prior experience partnering with Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, and Product Management teams.
• We prefer experience in martech tools and technologies, as well as sales technology.
• We seek experience serving as a subject matter expert across marketing, sales, and tech, translating stakeholder needs into data products that support data-driven decisions.
• We require experience building microservices and RESTful APIs.
• We expect experience applying DevOps best practices in a data platform, including CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and lineage.
• We look for experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Amplitude, and Redash.
• We require a graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Nice to have: experience working in SaaS companies.
• Nice to have: experience with machine learning.
• Nice to have: contributions to open source projects.

• We will lead a world-class data engineering practice and shape the technical direction and data architecture.
• We will build data products that support GTM strategy and critical decision-making across the organization.
• We will develop data products that enable reporting, analytics, data science, machine learning, and AI workloads.
• We will act as the domain specialist for data and partner with IT, data platform, product engineering, GTM stakeholders, analytics teams, and data scientists across multiple programs.
• We will drive systems and solutions at scale to support the companys growing data needs.
