Position Summary The Odyssey Technical Center has an exciting new opportunity for aSolution Architect toleadOdyssey’s AI and Autonomy technical domains.We areseekinga highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced ML systems that power scalable, secure, and high-impact AI capabilities across the enterprise. The ideal candidate has deep experience in ML architecture,MLOps, backend microservices, and cloud-native technologies. This role will be instrumental in shaping our AI platform, accelerating model development, and deliveringvetted concepts andsolutions that support both internal teams and enterprise-level applications.This role owns the cross-cutting technical charter and operating model forAIandAutonomy andsupports growth and development of the Technical Center and of the larger Odyssey Technical community. This position can be in Huntsville, AL, Lincoln, MA, or REMOTE. Responsibilities Duties include, butarenot limited to: Architect, deploy, andmaintainsecure ML systems including gateways, authorization frameworks, and scalable model endpoints.Build self-service tooling, templates, and automation to accelerate agentic AI and model development workflows.Develop andmaintainenterprise CI/CD pipelines for ML services, model deployment, and package distribution.Create robust model evaluation tooling enabling repeatable, versioned model selection and experiment tracking.Design and deliver computer vision systems for product detection, dataset generation, and image-based search capabilities.Implement automated validation, conversion, and cost-optimized deployment pipelines for ML models.Build backend microservices to support deep learning inference, image augmentation, anda variety of AI-enabled applications.Partner cross-functionally with engineering, research, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable ML solutions.Ensure reliability, observability, and security across deployed GenAI endpoints and ML infrastructure.
