Job Description \n Tenet South Carolina is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a job in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Radiology Technologist \n Discipline: Allied Health Professional \n Duration: Ongoing \n Employment Type: Staff \n \n \n $20,000 Sign-on Bonus (Paid over 2 Years) \n 7p-730a, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday \n Provide radiographic examinations for patients of all ages using diagnostic imaging modalities. This includes assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, proficiency in PACS, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications. Technologists are also required to maintain necessary patient records and participate in the departmental performance improvement program. Technologists also function as clinical instructors for students enrolled in the Radiologic Technology program. Call required at times to meet departmental needs. \n \n Obtains patient data before procedure (DOB, age, and history) and explains procedure to be performed, facilitates patients’ cooperation and alleviates anxiety. \n Transfers patient to exam table; ensures proper covering of patient according to policy and procedure \n Arranges, attaches, or adjusts immobilization and support devices according to procedure, ensuring limitation of patient movement \n Demonstrates satisfactory positioning and equipment knowledge; consistently produces radiographs of diagnostic quality \n Always demonstrates working knowledge and proficiency with imaging equipment, including, but not limited to portables, c-arms, tomography, fluoroscopy, head unit, and general radiographic equipment \n Performs related duties as required. \n \n Required: \n \n Education: \n \n Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology school with an associate degree or equivalent or graduation within 6 months. \n \n Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: \n \n Registered with ARRT or registry eligible, must be registered within 1 year of employment. \n American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire. \n SCRQSA license is required. \n \n \n \n Preferred: \n \n Experience: Radiology Technologist or related experience is preferred. \n \n \n Tenet South Carolina Job ID View phone number on click.appcast.io.
