Help
Responds to the site of accidents or other emergencies involving injury, illness, or potential environmental risks.
Airway Obstructions and Respiratory Arrest: Identifies, treats, communicates, and documents airway obstructions and respiratory arrest.
Controls external bleeding with various treatment protocols.
Performs advanced assessment and treatment of the pediatric patient to include infant and neonatal resuscitation.
Performs light extrication utilizing a variety of light rescue tools and equipment to safely remove patients from accident locations.
Considers pharmacological intervention for pain control in all situations.
Responsible for implementing procedures for hazardous materials during the course of the duties which include biological, chemical, or radiological agents used by or maintained by the military or by rogue agents against the population.
Performs routine Operator safety checks and inventories all supplies and equipment.
Provides regular and recurring training classes based on course lesson plans via classroom instruction for both medical and nonmedical personnel (both military and civilian) assigned to the installation.
