About the Position

Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Tech Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 5 years current CST experience required. License: NBSTSA required (NCCT not accepted). Certifications: BLS (AHA). Must-Have: - Proficiency in General, Gyn, Vascular, Thoracic, Ortho (including total joints), Neuro/Head/Spine, and Trauma. - Ability to precept. - Proficient in Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred. - Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. - Two recent supervisory signed references required. Description: Two recent supervisory signed references are required and are non-negotiable. The agency must call and verify all references in the profile. Travelers must be able to precept and proficiency must be noted in the profile. Shift accommodation requests will not be considered for this need. Travelers may not take all holidays off. Must work two blocks if scheduled/needed around Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Unit size is 8 beds. Dress code is facility-provided scrubs. Travelers must include their permanent address in the profile. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests made after an offer may lead to rescinded offers. Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need. Profile must include work history, skills checklist (current to 1 year), and license/certifications. Hourly call and callback pay will be provided as needed.
