Children's Dental Health is seeking a (Per-Diem) X-ray certified Dental Assistant to join our close-knit team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients feel comfortable and receive the highest quality dental care possible. You will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare and sterilize instruments, take X-rays, maintain patient records, and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal assistant for our team has a calm disposition and a talent for building rapport with young patients, who may be scared or anxious.

Location: 3301 Lancaster Pike Unit 3E-3F Wilmington, Delaware 19805

Schedule: (Per-Diem) During FMLA coverage needs Mondays 8:00 AM-3:00 PM Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 7:45-5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Work with patients to make them comfortable and prepare them for treatment.
• Taking and processing X-rays of patients
• Assist the doctors and patients with a wide range of restorative procedures
• Chart and enter notes in Dentrix
• Work in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• X-ray certification required
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, restorative, and orthodontics
• Dental Assisting certificate preferred
• Dental office experience preferred
