Position: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

Targeted Start Date: October 19, 2026

Schedule:

Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (07:30 AM - 04:00 PM)
Days: Monday - Friday

Qualifications:

Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
Required Certifications: RVT and BLS
Required Skills:
- Experience with GE equipment
- Experience with PACS
Patient Age Group Experience:
- Pediatrics
- Adolescents
- Adults
- Geriatrics

Job Summary:

The Ultrasound Tech - Vascular will perform a variety of vascular ultrasound procedures in an outpatient lab setting. The position entails working closely with vascular providers to conduct ultrasounds that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Procedures conducted include:

Carotid ultrasounds
Venous insufficiency assessments
Aorta examinations
Renal artery evaluations
Dialysis access studies
Vein mapping
Arterial and mesenteric ultrasounds

Unit Details:

Daily Census: 10 patients
Number of Rooms: 2
Patient Diagnoses: Focused outpatient vascular procedures performed primarily on arterial and venous patients.

Orientation:

Orientation sessions are conducted bi-weekly.

Additional Information:

Attendance Policy: Travelers may have up to three absences per 13-week contract. Attendance will be monitored, and excessive tardiness or No Call/No Show incidents may result in contract review.
Compliance Requirements: Documentation must be provided in a timely manner to ensure compliance with onboarding procedures.
