CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Finance Analyst - Junior for a financial services company based in Fort Worth, Texas . This opportunity will support the Supervision team with reporting, data analysis, systems support, and administrative coordination. The Accounting Coordinator will gain hands-on exposure to financial services operations, regulatory and supervision processes, reporting frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration while developing practical skills in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This individual should be comfortable working with data, communicating with business partners, and learning new financial services systems, processes, procedures, and controls.

Pay Rate: $20–$25/hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Assignment

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation, maintenance, and analysis of reports used by leadership to provide insight into business activities, capacity, productivity, and operational performance.
• Support ad hoc reporting, data analysis, system testing, data validation, and process improvement initiatives while helping identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with internal business partners across areas such as Financial Planning, Compliance, Insurance Operations, Product Management, and Advisor Operations to help communicate and resolve outstanding issues.
• Assist with internal and external inquiries, including answering calls and responding to emails, while supporting the team with documentation, policies, procedures, and special projects.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and cross-functional activities to develop an understanding of financial services supervision, regulatory controls, compliance procedures, and business operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Accounting, or a related field ; strong academic performance preferred.
• Interest in financial services, compliance, reporting, accounting, or data analysis.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel , with working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Coursework, projects, or previous experience involving data, reporting, analysis, or financial information is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
