Metal Roofing Technician

Job Description

Job Description

METAL ROOFERS AND SIDERS — BUILD A CAREER. OWN A PIECE OF THE COMPANY.
The Position
We’re looking for dependable, hardworking people who want more than just another roofing job. At IRC, you can build your skills, grow your career, and share in the success of the company through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
WORK HERE. OWN HERE.
IRC is an employee-owned company. Through our ESOP, eligible employees have the opportunity to build an ownership interest in the company over time — at no cost to the employee.
When IRC succeeds, our employee-owners have the opportunity to benefit from that success. Your work doesn’t just build roofs. It helps build the value of a company you have a stake in.
We’re looking for people who:

• Have commercial metal experience — or are willing to learn
• Show up ready to work and be part of a team
• Take safety seriously
• Have a strong work ethic
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Want an opportunity to learn, advance, and build a long-term career

Experience with metal roofing, metal siding, or commercial metal repair is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
Why Join IRC?
In addition to becoming part of an employee-owned company, IRC offers:
Competitive Pay: $20–30+ per hour

• Paid Holidays
• Paid Training & Professional Development
• Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance
• Short/Long-term Disability
• Life Insurance
• Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
• 401(k) with Matching
• Year-round career opportunities
• A company that invests in its employees and promotes from within

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work flexible schedules.
• Strong listening skills to effectively communicate with coworkers and clients.
• Results-oriented, with a focus on organization, detail, and accuracy.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and safely move equipment on-site.
• Comfort with climbing ladders and working confidently at heights.
• Proficiency with power and hand tools.
• Willingness to occasionally travel overnight.

This Is More Than a Roofing Job
At IRC, our employees are the people who make the company successful. Becoming employee-owned makes that connection even stronger.
Work hard. Build your career. Help grow the company. Share in its success.
If you’re ready to join a commercial roofing company where your work matters and employees have a stake in the future, apply today to join the IRC team.
