Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in the Prince William County area, working with schools in Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge. This role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of school-aged children and thrive in collaborative educational environments.
The assignment spans the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 17th, 2026, and concludes on June 12th, 2027. The weekly commitment is a consistent 35 hours, Monday through Friday, with 7-hour days—perfect for those seeking both stability and the opportunity to truly get to know their students and colleagues.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Virginia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are welcome
- Experience or strong interest in a school-based setting, working with diverse student populations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to onsite service—remote or virtual options are not available at this time
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services aligned with students’ needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student development
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and inclusive school community
