Territory Business Manager - Illinois

About the RoleKoch Agronomic Services is seeking a motivated and self-driven Territory Business Manager to manage all sales within Illinois, building relationships with ag retail head offices, retail locations, and distribution partners to drive sales growth.Location & TravelThe role is based remotely inside the supported territory. The candidate must reside within Illinois. The position requires significant daily travel, up to 75%, and overnight stays. A company truck will be provided.The Territory Business Manager reports to the Sales Manager.What You Will DoLead the business and profitable growth in the regionDevelop, own and manage relationships with key customers and targetsCreate sales strategies, prioritization plan, and forecastingPartner with marketing and product lines to generate tools and ideas for product development and portfolio expansionPresent and educate to audiences such as General Managers, Senior Buyers, Dealers, Wholesalers, Distribution reps and Retail sales staffPartner with established key accounts and maximize profitable growth in the regionDevelop a point of view on effective sales strategies and tactics for the territory; motivate position resulting in value creationBasic QualificationsExperience in the crop, fertilizer, chemical, seed treatment, seed enhancement or Ag businessField based value-added agriculture sales or marketing experienceWhat Will Put You AheadKnowledgeable and skilled professional with a history of success in value-added agriculture sales/marketingCompensationWe anticipate paying $110,000 – $160,000 per year.
