In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting customer-facing websites and business applications that improve digital experiences, eCommerce functionality, and operational efficiency. You will initially focus on Shopify Plus eCommerce platforms and related brand websites, with emphasis on front‑end development, structured data, technical SEO, system integrations, and performance optimization. As business needs evolve, this role may expand into broader full‑stack development, including backend services, APIs, database development, cloud technologies, and Microsoft‑based applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web applications, websites, and business software solutions. Build and customize Shopify Plus themes, templates, reusable sections, and content modules using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Implement website enhancements focused on usability, accessibility, responsive design, performance, and technical SEO. Develop and maintain structured data using JSON‑LD and Schema.org markup across product, location, FAQ, video, breadcrumb, and other website content. Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Develop and support integrations between Shopify and third‑party systems, including PIM, CRM, Yext, Google Business Profile, analytics platforms, and other enterprise applications. Support backend application development using C#, .NET/.NET Core, REST APIs, and Microsoft development technologies. Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server database objects, including tables, views, functions, and stored procedures. Troubleshoot application, integration, and website issues while identifying root causes and implementing long‑term solutions. Perform unit testing, regression testing, system validation, and production support activities. Research existing applications and codebases to implement enhancements and improve overall system functionality. Create and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and support documentation. Collaborate with IT, Marketing, eCommerce, Product Data, Sales, Operations, and external vendors to deliver aligned technology solutions. Follow software development best practices, including version control, code reviews, documentation, testing, and deployment processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience will be considered. 3+ years of professional web development or software development experience. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Shopify / Shopify Plus, Liquid templating, responsive web development, API integrations, and experience developing and maintaining Shopify or Shopify Plus websites, including theme customization. Strong understanding of web development principles, accessibility, responsive design, and software development best practices. Experience integrating APIs and third‑party business applications. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and committed to continuous learning and professional development. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting technical SEO initiatives, structured data implementation, or website performance optimization. Experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, REST APIs, SQL Server, T‑SQL, stored procedures, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, automated testing, regression testing, and software quality assurance practices. Experience supporting retail, eCommerce, multi‑location, or service‑based organizations. Familiarity with PIM, CRM, analytics platforms, Yext, Google Business Profile, and enterprise integration tools. Experience working in Agile or cross‑functional software delivery environments.
