Title: IPT Lead - Airframe
Location: Mojave CA
Duration: 12+ month contract or TEMP to PERM
US Citizenship Required!
Project:
Clean-sheet development of a tactical air vehicle. This person will be the technical expert for the airframe and lead design, analysis, and execution across the IPT
.
Duties
• Lead airframe design and structural analysis for a metallic and composite airframe
• Own airframe-level structural issues and drive analysis-based solutions
• Serve as the technical lead for the airframe and guide IPT decisions, tradeoffs, and execution
• Support rapid prototype / experimental vehicle development through the full product lifecycle
• Work across internal teams and subcontractors to manage risk, priorities, and technical execution
Must Have
• Aerospace airframe design experience
• Significant experience as a design lead and/or analyst on an airframe or structures team
• Strong background in airframe design, structures analysis, and airframe-level issue resolution
• Experience with metallic structures design, analysis, and manufacturing
• Experience leading engineering teams; IPT leadership experience is highly valued
• Siemens NX and Teamcenter preferred; CATIA or SolidWorks is acceptable
• U.S. Citizenship

• Composite structures design, analysis, and manufacturing experience
• Clean-sheet airframe development experience
• Experience with Talon-like, supersonic, hypersonic, or air-launched vehicles
• Active Secret, TS, and/or SCI clearance
• FEMAP, Nastran, MS Office, and configuration tools such as JIRA, Git, or Jama experience
