Senior Engineering Project Manager | LNG & Oil Gas Project Delivery Houston, Texas ENG Bauen is supporting a leading energy operator in the delivery of a major LNG and oil and gas capital project in Houston, Texas. As investment across the Gulf Coast continues to accelerate, our client is strengthening its project delivery capability with the appointment of a Senior Engineering Project Manager to support engineering execution, stakeholder alignment, and technical delivery across a complex, high-value programme. Role Overview As Senior Engineering Project Manager, you will take a leading role in managing engineering activities across a major LNG and oil and gas project, ensuring technical deliverables are aligned with project scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements. This is a key client-side project leadership position, suited to an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in complex CAPEX environments, multidisciplinary engineering coordination, and the delivery of major energy infrastructure projects. You will work closely with internal project teams, EPC/EPCM partners, contractors, and key stakeholders to drive engineering progress from design through execution, supporting risk management, technical decision‑making, and project readiness across all phases of delivery. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate engineering activities across a major LNG and oil and gas capital project. Manage multidisciplinary engineering deliverables across process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, civil, and structural disciplines. Interface with EPC/EPCM contractors, vendors, construction teams, project controls, and client stakeholders to ensure engineering alignment. Drive engineering progress in line with project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements. Support technical reviews, design assurance, change management, risk mitigation, and project execution planning. Ensure engineering deliverables are suitable for procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness. Provide clear reporting on engineering progress, risks, constraints, and key decision points to senior project leadership. Candidate Profile The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing engineering scope on major LNG, oil and gas, petrochemical, refining, or downstream capital projects. You will bring strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and project delivery experience, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, complex project environment. Qualifications 15+ years of engineering or project engineering management experience within LNG, oil and gas, petrochemical, refining, or downstream projects. Proven experience supporting large‑scale CAPEX projects, ideally valued at $200M+. Strong background coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. Experience working with EPC, EPCM, owner/operator, or major contractor environments. Strong understanding of project controls, engineering workflows, technical assurance, change management, and risk management. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across client, contractor, vendor, and site‑based teams. Based in, or willing to relocate to, Houston, Texas. #J-18808-Ljbffr ENG Bauen
