Registered Dental Assistant

About the Role

We’re a growing, patient‑focused dental office looking for the right person to join our team and help us deliver exceptional, detail‑oriented care to every patient we see.

Out ideal candidate would provide:

Chair-side Support

• Assist doctor during all dental procedures
• Anticipate doctor’s needs and follow directions
• Perform oral evaluations and take high-quality X-rays
• Help with lab tasks, including making provisionals

Patient Experience & Flow

• Keep appointments on time – aim for zero patient wait time
• Stay flexible and ready for changes in patient flow
• Be present, prepared, and engaged at every scheduled shift

Documentation & Charting

• Review charts before exams
• Log patient data and transcribe doctor notes during visits
• Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times

Safety & Compliance

• Follow OSHA standards and company safety protocols
• Clean and sterilize operatories and equipment before/after appointments

Patient Communication & Education

• Educate patients about procedures, products, and services
• Address patient questions and concerns
• Review and document patient health history and medications

Office & Team Support

• Schedule follow-up visits and assist with front office tasks as needed
• Support hygienists and fellow team members
• Track lab cases and follow up to ensure timely delivery
• Create NEAs for completed work daily

Supplies & Inventory

• Monitor dental supplies and place orders as directed using approved vendors

Other

• Complete assigned checklists and daily tasks
• Promote a positive, patient-focused environment
• Anticipate doctor’s needs and follow directions
• Perform oral evaluations and take high-quality X-rays
• Help with lab tasks, including making provisionals
