Staff Accountant

Job Description
Job Description Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts. Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting activities as needed. Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances. Assist with sales and use tax filings and other regulatory reporting requirements. Maintain supporting documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls. Prepare financial reports and schedules for management review. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2+ years of accounting experience (public accounting internship experience considered). Understanding of general accounting principles and U.S. GAAP. Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic formulas. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
