Position Summary / Responsibilities Assisting in conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans. Implementing therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, and independence under the direction of the Physical Therapist. Monitoring patient progress and reporting changes to the Physical Therapist. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Providing education to patients and families on therapy goals and rehabilitation strategies. Ensuring compliance with documentation, facility policies, and regulatory requirements. Participating in facility meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and survey preparedness. Maintaining accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Requirements Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program. Current and valid PTA license/certification. Experience working with adult/geriatric populations preferred. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and patient care skills.
