Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry - Night Shift Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule The position requires 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with weekends as scheduled. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide care in a 29-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit (Stepdown) focused on patients with cardiac conditions and post-operative recovery. The RN will assist in monitoring cardiac and telemetry patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care. Responsibilities Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings. Titrate IV drips such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Integrelin, Heparin, Ativan, Lasix, and Nitro. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and managing respiratory equipment for patients requiring CPAP and BiPAP. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care strategies. Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and prescribed treatment plans. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN license. Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
