Facility Name: Valley View Medical Center Schedule: 5x8 + Days (8a-4:30p) + Rotating Weekends Occupation: Occupational Therapist (OT) Lifepoint Rehabilitation is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network with facilities across the country. As an Occupational Therapist (OT) joining our team, you’ll help make communities healthier through exceptional patient care and compassionate support. How You'll Contribute Provide occupational therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover, and maintain occupational skills. Assess patient’s ability to safely and effectively perform occupational skills. Design appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment. Implement the treatment plan using appropriate modalities. Document subjective and objective findings of patient progress. Monitor and modify the plan of care as needed. Seek consultation as necessary. Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits. Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment settings. Provide information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs. Supervise and delegate the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians according to established licensing laws, state regulations, and practice standards. What We're Looking For Applicants must have a current state occupational therapist license and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited school. Additional requirements include: Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS certifications required within six (6) months of hire.
