Duties: 

• Supports Nurse Management in the supervision and management of the day-to-day functions of the nursing department in accordance with current roles, regulations and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility

• Supervises nursing service personnel to ensure that they perform their jobs in accordance with the Nursing Services Policies and Procedures Manual

• Manages admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents

• Collaborate with physicians and other nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients

 

Qualifications: 

• RN License is required 

• Prior experience preferred
